We've had John, one of Stephen's friends from Montreal, visiting this weekend. A lot of time has been spent in The Only Cafe (I know "true locals" refer to it as "The Only", but to me, there's nothing wrong with being a cafe as well as having one of the best beer selections in Toronto and a truly eclectic collection of wall art.) John's been to Kensington, Queen W. the Distillery, Cabbagetown, some of the Danforth, The Village, The Beaches and Scarborough Bluffs. We saw Daniel Brook's The Eco Show last night. A high quality piece of theatre that recreates some painful family situations as well as call into question how one should act in regards to the global warming "doom and gloom".
